Es wurde 1972 ins Leben gerufen und besch\u00e4ftigte sich urspr\u00fcnglich mit der Fruchtbarkeitsregulierung (v.a. Verh\u00fctung und Unfruchtbarkeit). Eine seiner \u201eErrungenschaften\u201c ist die Definition des Terminus \u201ereproductive health\u201c (Siehe Artikel \u201creproductive health\u201d), zu dem unter anderem der Zugang zu Abtreibung geh\u00f6rt und welcher auf der International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) 1994 in Kairo international angenommen wurde. In einem <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/reproductivehealth\/about_us\/hrp\/HRP-Evaluation-Report-Vol-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bericht <\/a>der Organisation, \u201ehera \u2013 right to health &amp; developement\u201c, welcher zur Fremdevaluierung der von HRP geleisteten Arbeit und in dessen Auftrag erstellt wurde, wird vermerkt, dass es dem HRP gelungen sei, den Familienplanungsdiskurs von der Bev\u00f6lkerungskontrolle hin zu \u201ereproductive rights\u201c zu verlegen. Damit ist wohl eine strategische Begriffsumbenennung gemeint, da sich \u201ereproductive rights\u201c international viel leichter umsetzen lassen als offizielle \u201eMa\u00dfnahmen zur Eind\u00e4mmung des Bev\u00f6lkerungszuwachses\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das HRP richtet die <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/reproductivehealth\/about_us\/hrp\/HRP-Evaluation-Report-Vol-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Ziele <\/a>seiner zweij\u00e4hrigen Programme gezielt an den globalen Agenden aus, allen voran der \u201e2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development\u201c sowie der \u201eUN Global Strategy for Women\u2019s Children\u2019s and Adolescents\u2019 Health\u201c.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/reproductivehealth\/about_us\/hrp\/HRP-Evaluation-Report-Vol-1.pdf\"> <\/a>Einer der Themenschwerpunkte des HRP ist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/reproductivehealth\/projects\/MCS-A-2019.pdf\">Abtreibung<\/a>; zur Zeit wird die \u201cWHO Multi-Country Survey on Abortion&#8220; als ein aktuelles Projekt gelistet. Darin findet man als eines der Ziele: \u201cTo assess institutional capacity for provision of safe abortion and management of complications\u201d \u2013 also die Bewertung der Kapazit\u00e4ten zur Versorgung mit \u201esafe abortion\u201c, wohl mit Hintergedanken auf den Ausbau derselben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neben den namensgebenden Organisationen (UNDP\/UNFPA\/UNICEF\/WHO\/World Bank) und UNAIDS, der AIDS-Hilfsorganisation der UN, ist die <em>International Planned Parenthood Federation<\/em> (IPPF, siehe Artikel zu IPPF) <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20210308200417\/https:\/\/www.who.int\/reproductivehealth\/about_us\/hrp\/partners\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">offizieller Partner<\/a> des HRP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unter den <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20190420142726\/https:\/\/www.who.int\/reproductivehealth\/hrp\/donors\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Geldgebern <\/a>des HRP befinden sich (abgerufen 3.12.2020) neben den namensgebenden UN-Organisationen nationale Regierungen wie der von Indien, Gro\u00dfbritannien, Belgien, den Niederlanden, Deutschland und der Schweiz sowie \u201cphilantrope\u201d Organisationen wie die <em>Bill &amp; Melinda<\/em> <em>Gates Foundation<\/em>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Das HRP ist eine international t\u00e4tige Organisation der Abtreibungs- und Bev\u00f6lkerungsregulierungslobby und konnte sich durch die Vereinten Nationen einen \u201cseri\u00f6sen\u201d Anstrich geben.
